Dave is one of our full-time staff members who wears a lot of hats here at Gordonville Fire & EMS. His experience, knowledge and passion for emergency services is evident in all he does. We are so thankful that Dave is a part of our team!
Hello All, My name is Dave. I’ve been involved with emergency services since 2008 and started volunteering here with Gordonville in 2010 during EMT class. I left the area for a few years in 2011 to be a volunteer live-in at Manheim Township Fire Rescue while working for Wellspan Health as an EMT for a few years and then moved onto Harrisburg International Airport as a Firefighter working up to the rank of Captain. In August of 2017 I moved back to the Gordonville area from Manheim Township and started to volunteer again. In February of 2021 I had the opportunity to come on board as a Fulltime employee. I was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and I help with the day to day operations and administrative tasks around the firehouse as well as staff the fire apparatus and ambulances. My favorite thing about working for Gordonville can certainly be that I get to work in the direct community I live. Being able to interact with the community members who are my neighbors brings extra motivation to make sure I am providing the best community relationships and care I can as a provider. Outside of work you will probably find me on the golf course, vacationing up north in the New England states or on a cruise.
