Over the weekend Gordonville Fire and EMS was dispatched for Special Unit 43 to assist station 80 Columbia Borough Fire Department. Station 80 was dispatched just after 11pm Friday night for a reported house fire. Units arrived to find fire in two attached dwellings. A second alarm was requested shortly before midnight brining SU 43 to assist with rehab. SU 43, Ambulance 433, and Assistant 43 made the response with a total of 8 personnel. Crews set up chairs and passed out water and snacks for the crew working and assisted EMS with vitals for firefighters in rehab. Crews operated until the incident was scaled back just after 4 am.
